Dr. Waqar Ahsan is a board certified family medicine physician with fellowship training in interventional pain management. Dr. Ahsan grew up in the Chicagoland area. He went to Loyola University Chicago and graduated with a biology degree. He then went to medical school at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a family medicine residency at University of Illinois Rockford. Afterwards, he completed an interventional pain management fellowship at Omni Pain and Precision Medicine in Utica New York. Dr. Ahsan is enthusiastic about treating patients with chronic pain and can also manage primary care needs.
